For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a worldbuilder. From the first stories I crafted in childhood to the intricate universes I shaped over decades, worldbuilding has been more than just a passion—it’s been an obsession. Now, after more than 40 years of constructing narratives, imagining vast civilizations, and breathing life into countless characters, I’ve come full circle.
I am thrilled to announce The Hunt for Truth, a new blog series with a serialized narrative set in the handcrafted Nexaellion Galaxy—a universe years in the making. This project isn’t just about storytelling; it’s about realizing a vision I’ve nurtured for a lifetime. And, for those who love deep lore, complex characters, and the high stakes of far-future sci-fi, you’re in for something truly special.
The Nexaellion Galaxy: A Universe of Conflict and Conspiracy
The Nexaellion Galaxy is a living, breathing world—a sprawling canvas of political machinations, war-ravaged factions, and deep, interstellar mysteries. It is a place where history is rewritten by unseen hands, where alliances shift like the tides, and where no one truly knows who pulls the strings behind galactic events.
At the heart of The Hunt for Truth lies a pivotal moment in galactic history—an era set nearly a thousand years before the events of the upcoming tabletop skirmish RPG wargame that will bring the Nexaellion Galaxy to life in a whole new way. This is the foundation upon which legends will be built.
And it all starts with one man: Hawke.
The Story: One Man’s Search for Redemption and the Truth
Hawke is many things—former Frontier Coalition Marine, accused war criminal, a survivor of the now infamous FC leadership summit attack, and a man burdened by the ghosts of his past. But above all, he is a reluctant seeker of the truth.
His journey begins in the darkness of The Anvil, a brutal mining prison where life is cheap, and hope is a currency no one can afford. But when a mysterious benefactor orchestrates his escape, Hawke is thrust into a larger game—one where the past refuses to stay buried and where powerful forces will stop at nothing to silence him.
With every step, Hawke unearths more questions than answers, and the deeper he digs, the more dangerous the game becomes.
Why This Story? Why Now?
For four decades, I’ve built worlds, created characters, and developed narratives that have lived in my mind and on scattered pages. A few select friends and family have had a peek into some of these worlds as I hosted the occasional D&D game throughout those 40 years. Now, with The Hunt for Truth, I finally have the chance to share them with you.
This is more than just a sci-fi story—it’s an invitation into a meticulously crafted universe where every detail has weight, where every character has a story, and where every conflict has history behind it.
As a lifelong worldbuilder, I know that great stories aren’t just about battles in space or high-tech weaponry. They’re about the people caught in the tide of history, the choices they make, and the truths they uncover.
The Hunt for Truth is my love letter to sci-fi, to worldbuilding, and to the power of storytelling.
Join the Journey
Over the coming months, I’ll be releasing episodes of The Hunt for Truth, each unveiling another piece of this grand puzzle. If you love deep, character-driven storytelling with a healthy dose of mystery, intrigue, and pulse-pounding action, you won’t want to miss it.
